   * A special note:  Mars is Retrograde, %R.  Mars went Retrograde, R, on December 20, 2009.  It will go Direct l on March 10, 2010.

What does Mars Retrograde mean and how does it feel?  Mar's retrograde or backward motion, just like Mercury Retrograde, makes each of us feel as if we don't have full use of the power of the planet.  In this case, we feel as if we don't have enough energy because Mars is our personal energy planet.  Mercury, as you will recall, is our communication planet.

During a Mars Retrograde, the majority of us will feel listless, fatigued, and yes, even grumpy. The lesson to be learned with Mars Retrograde is the positive use of our personal energy.  Since we all feel as if we don't have enough energy to do everything we think we need to do, we need to reexamine our "to do" list then cut it down to what truly needs to be done.  Most people will be surprised at how much bus-i-ness they have created!

Taking a catnap every now and then is also extremely beneficial during a Mars Retrograde cycle.
