Here's what's happening in our amazing solar system this month.
The sun is in the sign of Sagittarius, which is ruled by the planet Jupiter. And Jupiter rules abundance and fun so it is no surprise that Thanksgiving falls under the bountiful sign of Sagittarius!
Sagittarians love to have fun doing whatever they are doing. They are lucky, joyful, and prophetic. Sagittarians enjoy participating in sports, being in Mother Nature's playground, and can easily over-do anything!
First, Mercury turns Retrograde on December 3, 2017. Mercury Retrograde creates poor communication, both speaking and listening. It produces aggravation, confusion, misunderstandings, schedule changes, temporarily misplaced items, restlessness, and nervousness. Tempers are short as communication becomes more challenging and tiresome. And, unresolved issues encircle a person to the point of near strangulation.
On the brighter side, Mercury retrograde creates quality time with the self, finishing projects, and the discovery of what created one or more negative situations in a person's life. Mercury turns Direct or goes forward on December 22, 2017 at which time, clarity of thinking and flowing communication will return.
So what does the sun in Sagittarius have to do with you? You and everyone else have Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, Venus, the Sun, and all the other planets moving or transiting around the outside of your natal chart, which creates a temporary refocus of attention, thought, and/or energy in different areas of your life.
For example, if Libra is your second house of money, you may be tempted to spend one paycheck per month on clothing or one piece of artwork, which may or may not leave enough money to pay the mortgage, make the car payment, buy groceries, etc. Obviously, keeping a balanced budget is necessary, balance being the key word. Another example, if Scorpio is your sixth house of health, you may will yourself into having perfect health!
More personally speaking, here's what you can look forward to this month.
Aries: be open to meeting new people and expanding your circle friends. Now is a great time to make new goals for yourself including an invigorating game of tennis or racquetball in your weekly schedule and eating fresh veggies to help relieve holiday tension. On the stove, simmer a saucepan filled with water and orange oil to help alleviate headaches.
Taurus: ruled by Venus, the goddess of love, beauty, and things of value, you cannot help but attract or draw to you the love, appreciation, money, situations, things, and the people you value and deem necessary to have in your life. Include lunchtime walks and fresh fruit to help relieve holiday anxiety and keep you fit as a fiddle. Burn a lavender scented candle to help alleviate tension.
Gemini: you are likely to burn the candle at both ends this month. Prioritize your health: take some catnaps or sleep in on occasion, bow out on participating in some activities, include a vigorous swim or game of tennis in your weekly schedule, and eat fresh veggies. Massage your hands and forearms with eucalyptus oil to help open your sinuses and also help you relax.
Cancer: avoid picturing the way you think your desires should come to you. Instead, and very importantly, keep your heart on what you want the final result to be. Include a semi-weekly swim or lunchtime walks in your schedule and eat fresh salads to help relieve holiday tension. Sip a cup of peppermint tea to help settle a nervous tummy.
Leo: cleaning and fine-tuning your connection with spirit is the best gift you can give you!
